U16 Cup draw: Timperley 5 - Sheffield 12

We initially put up a fight - and that was true to say for ALL players, from James in goal, the defence, midis and up front in attack. We were only 1 goal down at the end of Q1.
Sadly in Q2, we let it go....Pick & Lucas managed to get a goal each but Sheffield stormed into a commanding lead 2-6.
Q3 saw a steadying of sorts with Nathan getting our 3rd. End of quarter score 3-7.
I was getting hoarse by now and the boys were flagging.
Q4, Alex finally got our 4th but Sheffield were on a roll getting 5 more and we did manage a final consolation goal.
Final score 5-12

In the meantime, we need to concentrate on the upcomimg Nationals in Oxford as well as the remaining friendly matches until the end of the season, not to mention the upcoming tour matches where we must seek our revenge and whip MDX!
