U15 Girl's v Stockport

On Saturday 19th October, the Timperley U15 had a close first quarter against Stockport. There were lots of turnovers from both sides, resulting in the final score for the 1st quarter being 4-3 tfor Timperley.

TLC then came back hard in the second quarter, widening the gap. The 2nd quarter score being 7-1 and the halftime score 11-4.

As predicated, Stockport came back fighting in the 3rd quarter. The score for this quarter was 3-2 to us, however this really highlighted how effective our defence was at stopping the fast break which they employed many times.

In the final quarter, our attack especially came into its own, with some lovely attack plays such as a pick and playing possession. This resulted in the final score being 20-9 with a strong win for Timperley.

The MVP of the match was Tilly Young who scored 6 goals in total. Other notable mentions were Lotta Tully, Karina Henshaw, Rebecca Babar and all the U11s who stepped up and played with Kitty Towers even scoring a goal. Well done to everyone who played and special thanks to Fabienne Johnson and Alice Allen for coaching and Henny Wright for umpiring.
