Timperley U19s faced a touring Scotland U19 team last Friday evening. It was a match the Scots will be keen to forget as they went down 10 - 0 with Timperley fully controlling the game. Whilst the Scots never gave up; the disparity in speed, skill and experience was obvious to all and Timperley barely seemed to break sweat as they scored repeatedly. To be fair, this was a Scotland development team and some of the players had been playing for barely a year but they must have hoped for more encouraging result.
