Men’s 4s played very well indeed against a well stocked PSRC team. Tornados did what they had been working on over the last 5 weeks and managed to hold shape and structure, mark well, pass better and have a very solid defense in place. A cheer squad spurred on the lads with many commenting that the Tornados had played the best yet.
The final score against PSRC was 0-0 but didn't reflect the game itself which was high tempo throughout and attacking from both sides.
With no keeper on Tornados side, Raj Patel received man of the match, as kicking back, saving at least 4 clear shots on goal with his stick. Other notable saves from Peter Mitchell and Lawrence kept the men with a clean sheet. A hardworking midfield kept Tornados pushing forward out of defense earning some late short corners that the men were unable to capitalize on.
