The Sunday XI travelled to Pinner with a 12 man squad (long story). Clive ended up being 12th man wicket keeper captain !
TMCC won the toss and chose to bat in a 40 over encounter. Bobbie Dubie opened the innings in his first match for the Sundays and scored a very mature and composed 77. Other significant contributions came from Lenny Cohen (26), Benny Wolpe (28) and Nauman Khan (28). We ended up on 207 for 9.
At tea every piled in to the pavilion to watch the last few overs of the Test Match (apart from Clive and Bob Luder who sat outside as they couldn't bear to watch).
After the ecstasy of Stokes' heroics the teams ventured out in the heat to continue the match. Despite Nauman tasking a couple of early wickets our total never looked like it would be enough and Pinner got home with overs to spare. The other highlight was a wicket for Lenny Cohen (rare) completed with a stumping from Clive (even rarer).
