A small group of Towcestrians 1st XV have taken up the challenge of cycling London to Paris, in a mere 24 hours.

The event is in aid of SCOPE charity. SCOPE is a non-profit organisation which aims to improve opportunities for disabled people, enabling people with disabilities to live the quality of life we all deserve.

This challenge is a fast paced event which takes place on the 5th of July, leaving London at 12pm, cycling over night to Paris and finishing the 280 mile haul at 1pm on Sunday the 6th July 2014.

The four men, Yuon Skelton, Benjamin Roe, Sam Sturley and Craig Holton have been training hard, with their body stature being less like the average professional cyclist; it is a tough mental and physical challenge.

They are targeting to raise £1000 each for the charity SCOPE and to help them achieve this, they are holding a raffle of top quality prizes (see below).

The tickets to the raffle can be purchased online through their virgin money giving account. Tickets are £5 each or £20 for five, accompanied by leaving your name and email address (to contact the winners).

All proceedings go to the charity.
