Towcester’s unbeaten season came crashing to an end at Greens Norton Road last Tuesday night when they hosted ONs in the Alliance Cup.

In a ferocious match, a controversial sin-binning just before half time proved to be the difference between the two sides and ONs pressed home the numerical advantage.

ONs won 18-6 and the physicality of the Tuesday’s hard encounter undoubtedly sapped Tows against Ludlow on Saturday.
