Tows lethargic start was punished by the visitors right wing Matt Saunders, crossing out wide. Tows kicked off their scoring with a Ben Roe penalty, on duty with the boot for injured James Falvey. This was shortly followed by a Threlfall bullocking run from the base of the scrum, crashing through tackles to score an impressive debut try, converted by Roe. Although Tows leaked a number of penalties their total dominance of the scrum lead to further touchdowns for back rowers Threlfall & Symonds the half time score standing at 22- 5.
After the break it was the backs turn to join the scoring with swift hands sending winger Dave Stocks into the corner. Marlow winger Saunders kept his team in the game with his second try, but Tows now on the ascendancy moved the ball wide for Adam Wilkinson to score, followed by the try of the game; A well orchestrated attack from deep combining backs and forwards culminating in James Ashby crossing the line. A neat Matt Yuill side step saw him score Tows 7th try. Marlow had the final say after quick penalty saw Saunders claim a hat-trick which he followed with an impressive drop kick conversion from the side line.
