The visitors were immediately knocked back through a thundering try from Matt Yuill but Cheltenham responded with the same from a driving forwards effort.
As the game began to unfold Tows looked threatening every time they had the ball in hand, a Chrissie George break seeing Gus Hopewell finish.
Falvey then ran in a third as the penalty count began to rise as a result of the visitors defensive efforts. Tows scrum then drove over for the fourth and bonus point try from Craig Holton.
The half ended with Mat Yuill stepping down the wing, and deftly releasing Chrissie George to score under the posts a great way to finish a dominant half.
With a big win looking likely the second half turned out to be an anti-climax, injuries to the visitors’ front row led to uncontested scrums which sapped the momentum from the game.
Yuill did however add a his second try and converted.
Cheltenham had the last say scoring a converted interception try.
