Rugby Lions Away

Tows 2s travelled to Rugby Lions in a friendly but with the 2s not playing the lions before nobody knew what to expect in this game which added alittle more excitement to this challenge. Within 2 minutes the Tows set the standard with a try from a line out with Loosehead Matt Whitlock but playing into a strong wind the conversion was missed , Adam wilkinson hit the lions on the 6min and again on the 9min from full back Cam Young who showed some great strength fending off 3 players to get his 1st try.
The Lions had nothing to stop the Tows forwards who stepped up the gears and gave the lions forwards a lesson in strength and speed with more try's coming from Thorne Gladwin Adam wilkinson
Wes Roberts and DDJ all before halftime. Some changes made at halftime brought on fresh legs which also added more pace throughout to a already pacey squad . The 2nd half started with the Tows picking up from where they finished off in the 1st half scoring trys again this time cam young was the first to score getting his 2nd . The Lions just wanted this rampage to stop but the Tows hadn't finished and just wanted to show the Lions who had the biggest ROAR and Tows certainly did with more try's coming in from Hooker Fen Gallagher who just ripped up the Lions forwards with his strength and DDJ , Callum Garwood got his rewards with 2 try's plus Matt Whitlock for his 2nd . To round this game off the Towcestrians were simply to strong in all areas of the game for the Lions
