Lack of players and no substitutes made this a very hard game to play in .

From Thursday night and having a squad with replacements facing Hinkley top of the table with 15 players turned out to be a tough day on the field
As last week Towcester started off very slowly and let Hinkley on to the score board within 5 minutes.
With ball in hand Tows did start to threaten the home side who had to defend well but infringed at the break down giving Tows a penalty in front of the posts.
From the restart Tows were under substantial pressure and from a scrum a penalty try was awarded.
Tows went down to 14 men and gaps started to appear every time Hinkley attacked.
38 - 3 at the break and 3 more players barely able to walk let alone tackle the second half looked very daunting.
From the kick off Hinkley found holes in the defence as players could not cover the space quick enough but fair play to Towcester they didn't give up.
Lewis Bodily just about able to run and catch got over the try line to give Hinkley a wake up call.
Moments later Dave Williams cut a nice straight line and using his power crossed the line. James Ball added the extras.
From the on it was all Hinkley as Towcester dropped down to 12 as the injuries piled up.
Hinkley were the deserved winners but well done to all the guys today fro showing at time that Hinkley's try line could be breached.
