A win last week against Luton meant another cup match against Kettering.
With half of the older colts injured the squad relied on the U17's to make up the squad.
Kettering only had one game plan shove it up the jumper and play in the forwards. They did this very well and rumbled up the field very well. Towcesters game plan was to move the ball about and not let the opposition get their hand on the ball. They didn't do that through out the game. Right up till the last minute Tows lead but gave away 10 metres on a 22 drop out and kicked the ball along the game. Kettering picked up the ball and drove up the middle to drop a goal in front of the sticks to win the match. The say that the top 2 inches make great rugby players the youngsters have a lot to learn.
