On Saturday - our 1sts reached 171 all out. Middlewich made it to 141-7. Lan with 48 and Nomi scored 53.
The 2nd XI were 128 all out. Lindow won by 5 wickets. Umer top scored with 53. Andy took 3-29.
On Sunday - the 3rd XI knocked up 153-5 in their 20 over cup match. The opposition Hale Barns fell short on 72-3. Top scorers for TMV were Shivaji with 52 and Shashi with 43.
Our Sunday Friendly XI travelled to Neston - scores not 100% but we posted approx 120 and lost.
On Monday - in the final game of the round robin format, the 3s 124-7, lost with 8 balls to spare by 5 wickets. The 3s progress into the quarter finals with 3 teams winning 2 out of 3 and MV having the highest net run rate.
In another Friendly at Prestwich - the hosts posted 175. Trafford MV won by 3 wickets with 4 overs to spare. Sam with 3-3, Steve with 3-23 and Pavan retiring at 50 not out.
MV also won against Avro on Tuesday evening in the midweek league in a game enjoyed by both sides ?????
