Trent Vineyard FC was started by members of Trent Vineyard Church in 2006. The club started in the Midland Amateur Alliance (MAA) and moved from Division Two up to the Premier Division in only a few seasons. In 2018 the club then moved in to the newly formed Midland and Notts Alliance* (MNA) starting in Division One. They moved up to the Premier Division in 2019. In 2020 following the folding of the MNA the club moved into the Samba Nottinghamshire Senior League (NSL) and started in Division Two North. The regionalised Division Two was scrapped by the NSL in 2022 with TVFC taking their place in NSL Division 3 where we now reside. 2023 saw the introduction of a Reserve side in the Derby Church League.
Since inception TVFC have established themselves as somewhat of a 'Cup Club' having been to 5 cup finals. Unfortunately they have only won one of those winning their one and only trophy to date in the MAA Intermediate Cup of 2015.
