Summary:
The Rebuilding Trinity Academy is to be in two phases. When both phases are complete the school will have space for 1,200 pupils.
In phase one we want to replace Trinity Academy’s sports facilities. New facilities for the school and the community will be built at Bangholm Recreation Centre.
They already have £10m to build phase one.

On 28 October 2019 there was an information evening for parents, latest plans were presented for the sports and outdoor learning centre at Bangholm and suggested a preferred option for the location of the phase two redevelopment of the rest of Trinity Academy. The preferred option outlined at the presentation was to build on the current site in a phased approach between summer 2020 and 2025. The presentation below shows the potential phasing over the years. This option will be considered by the Education, Children and Families Committee on 10 December 2019.
