Surreal to see Phil signing autographs and taking selfies with fans as he came front house to just meet me. Different world to his Bangholm stadium days!
Then tuk-tuk back to Phil’s hotel for a couple of drinks and a proper catch-up. He’s asking after all the Trinity boys he played with. Keen to get back into rugby when contracts allow. Maybe venture into coaching near in his new home in England-shire if the ABBA show run ever ends. Thanks Phil, beers on me next time.
