Solid start to the season

Trojans Academy opened up their season with a hard fought win over local rivals Tottonians.
In a first half dominated by Trojans Tom Knight Owen crossed for the first try after the Trojans scrum had created a strong platform.

The second half was a tighter affair with Trojans dominating territory but some poor choices and scratchy execution causing allowing Tottonians back into the game.Trojans were penalised for continual offences with a yellow card reducing them to 14 men which allowed Tottonians back into the game and they scored a converted try.
Restored to 15 men Trojans pressed forward and scored their third try of the game with Tom Knight Owen skipping through the opposition defence to score his second try which was converted by Josh Gregory.
Trojans ran out deserved winners 21-7 with a good performance but with many areas to work on and improve.
