Weston super Mare 0 Truro City 2 (24.04.2018)

THE WHITE Tigers bounced back from defeat in our previous game with a much-needed 2-0 victory at Weston super Mare as we kept up our play-off push.
On a greasy surface the tackles were flying in with The White Tigers carving out a number of chances to put the pressure on the home goal in the opening exchanges.
It was first blood to The White Tigers just past the half-hour mark when a corner from Connor Riley-Lowe was whipped in and found its way into the net.
We were good value for our lead going into the interval as we played some neat football on the slick surface.
Holding just a single-goal advantage it was always nervy, however, Aaron Lamont settled the nerves somewhat when he made it 2-0 on 57 minutes after another corner caused concern for the home side.
We managed to play out the rest of the game to keep our hosts at bay and secure three big points.
