For the second straight week Tweedmouth clinched all three points with a single goal victory. Last week the only goal of the game came in the first five minutes, this week it came in the last five, thanks to a penalty from Gary Robertson. In truth, this was a game which Tweedmouth dominated for large parts, but were unable to breakdown a stubborn Waverley back four. The decisive moment came when substitute Matty Clark was brought down in the box. Robertson slotted the penalty away, much to the relief of the home team.

The opening forty five minutes were dominated by the home team. The new strike partnership of Gleadow and Wood were causing the visitors all sorts of problems with their pace, but for all their pressure, the home team were unable to turn their dominance into goals. The closest they came to breaking the deadlock was a long range effort from Sharp close to half time which rattled the crossbar.

At half time manager Phillips called for an increase in the tempo to the Amateurs play, but the home team struggled to match their first half dominance, at times allowing the visitors back into the game. Time and again the Tweedmouth attacks were coming to nothing and it looked more and more that this was going to be a frustrating afternoon. But with five minutes remaining the deadlock was broken and the Amateurs went on to earn their second win in a row.

Man of the match for Tweedmouth was Daniel Crowe for his performance at the centre of a defence which kept a clean sheet for the second week in a row.
