Cricket Scotland today have released a further news release today with regards to club activities in Scotland due to the CO-VID 19 outbreak.
The release has now recommended a start date of 1 July, and to allow pitches to be prepared, "it is anticipated that no matches will take place until 1 August at the earliest". This further delay has also meant that any Saturday league matches, and national cup competitions will now not take place at all.
Uddingston therefore will have no WDCU Saturday League matches at any level - either first or reserve league, and nor will there be any Cricket Scotland Scottish Cup games. It is most likely then that any cricket will be a combination of friendlies and T20 competitions - so for example, competitions such as the McCulloch and Rowan Cups could still be played.
Any fixtures and further announcements will be posted here and on @Uddycricket once these are known.
In the meantime, please continue to stay safe and follow Government advice in these difficult times.
