The fixture will kick off at 1.30pm as Essex look to build on last season's performance in reaching the Quarter Finals. Essex will be looking to start strong with a second group fixture on 18th March away v Middlesex.

Should Essex finish in the top two of the group, there is a strong chance that they will be travelling away to play either Somerset or Devon, but first things first they must get a good start v Sussex.

In addition to hosting the fixture, Upminster RFC will have player representation in the match day squad of 22 with Joe Davis, Mark Hutchins, David Baker, Charlie Harris, Andrew Byrne and Guy Binder all selected.
