URFC Update 22nd May 2020.

Dear Players, Parents and Members
As we all know Lockdown measures are being slowly relaxed and in recent days the RFU have issued a return to training guide. This though is primarily aimed at Premiership players, as opposed to the community game.
However, as a club we are receiving regular communication from the RFU, Local CB, the local Authority, and of course governmental briefings.
Whilst we are as keen as everyone to return to full rugby activities, or even just to the bar for a cold pint. As a club we must and will adhere to all rules set, and we will not at any time take risks with our staff or members health. Nor put the club at risk of sanction.

Considering the latest easing the seniors are beginning a program based on the acceptable safety guidelines and adhering to Social Distancing, as and when the Mini & Youth teams can begin that will be communicated accordingly.

Both sections are planning for a September start, and whilst now that seems unlikely, we are as always ever hopeful.

In the meantime, and ensuring we meet all safety guidelines & social distancing, we will begin redecorating the club. So, if you can help at all then please get in touch.

If you have any questions at all or wish to volunteer then please do speak to your committee, captain or Age Group Manager.

To all URFC members past and present working the frontline so bravely, the club thanks you all and your colleagues.

We will advise members as and when bits change.

For now take care and stay safe.
