USF Goes 3 - 0 with a 115 to 7 win over FGCU

University of South Florida (USF) played newly promoted Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) on USF Magnolia Field in perfect Rugby weather on Saturday, February 8, 2020, and opened the scoring within 3 minutes of kick-off with the first, of what was to be a personal 5 tries haul, from Chris Zinn.
More tries from Murray Alford (2) & Matt Bradley gave USF its 4 try Bonus Point after just 18 minutes of play. USF continued to score tries.
Half Time 55 - 0 (including a Penalty Try against FGCU)
USF made multiple substitutions at half time, as part of its player development policy, and was off on its try scoring binge 3 minutes into the second half. With additional substitutes coming on the field, scoring continues at a rapid rate.
USF played all 80 minutes of the match with discipline, but showed many inaccuracies, such as; reckless and unnecessary off-loads and lack of patience, behaviour which will be PUNISHED by higher level teams.
By the end of the match, the Referee required a substitute pencil & ALL substitues had significant playing time. Final score - 115 to 7.

Following the 1st XV match, USF development players had time against a Krewe squad suplemented by some USF players, to get some well needed LIVE match time.
