The shortened 2019/20 season was probably the best season I’ve had at Uxbridge. Not only was it a great club achievement coming fourth, going unbeaten at home in the first half and getting to a semi-final (H/M2 Cup) as well as a final (Floodlit Cup), I also enjoyed a number of landmark moments personally.

Next to captaining the 2nd team for the first ever, my favourite memory of the last season was coming back from 20 odd points down to beat Watford RFC at the death in quarterfinals of the Mid/Herts 2 cup. The character from the lads and the elation at the final whistle was something truly special.

Next season who know when we will begin, but we’ll be raring to go and aiming high and for promotion again with the squad we have.
