VCD Athletic U18’s are looking for talented players, especially a striker, to add to an existing strong squad in preparation for the 2019/20 season.
The club are running two U18 teams this season playing in the Ryman Midweek Youth League and the Sunday Kent Youth League as well as competing in the FA Youth Cup, Kent County Cup, Kent Youth League Cup and Kent Youth Invitational Cup.
We are looking for ambitious, reliable and committed players who have an excellent attitude and a desire to progress into Ryman League senior football.
Players will be required to attend two training sessions per week, taken by UEFA B Level coaches and held with the VCD First Team at the home ground in Crayford.
This will help to prepare the players on the pathway to adult football at a club that likes to promote youth players into the senior ranks.
Over the last two seasons 6 U18 players have signed and played for the first team gaining valuable experience from playing for the senior team in their Ryman League fixtures.
Training is currently held on a Monday and Thursday evening from 7pm-8:30pm.
