On the 9th to 11th June, the Vic Park Pigs went over to Bali for the annual Bali 9s Tournament, a social aussie rules football competition. On day 3 of the tournament, utility player, club stalwart, and all round nice guy, Guy Gazia broke his leg in a tackle. After rushing him off to hospital we checked his insurance and he said he had top cover which included social sport... BUT the insurance company has refused to pay!!!

Guy's bills are at about $15,000AUD, and still rising. He is on the mend at the moment after having 2 plates inserted into his leg, and can fly home soon but is expected to take 3-6 months for recovery.
