Soon the Club will be introducing temperature checks to enter the clubhouse. If your temperature exceeds the government guidelines of 37.8 for adults or 38 for children, we will ask you to leave the clubhouse.
We know that this may cause some consternation, but please accept we are doing this to safeguard the Club. It would be really unfortunate to have to close the whole club because one person has symptoms. Please be assured that we are doing this to protect everyone. We would ask you , if you do happen to be asked to leave, that you do so with good grace.
We are starting to relax but this virus is still with us. Financially we are in a precarious position. We need to keep the bar running. Without that income this Club will cease to exist. For the sake of perhaps one person proving positive, which could force us to shut down, we ask you to bear with us through testing times. We need at least Social Membership to continue. After all, many clubs are still charging full membership. We need your help.
We have opened Junior rugby. We hope to be able to get senior rugby running in some form – even if it is touch rugby.
Please be patient.
