A very pleasant day was spent at West Malling Golf Club, where the Masters was decided and Warren Lee rose as Champion Golfer 2019 with a brilliant 41 points - it might have been more. By the time the prizes were awarded I was suffering from a combination of sun stroke and Hendricks. Anyway, Harry Wilson was crowned the longest drive - he went further than I did on my honeymoon - and probably had as much fun doing so. Nearest the Pin was Dan Ackary (although there should have been a prize for nearest the green). The bronzemedal went to Steve Wilson, whilst gary Strickings won the Silver. Top team was Dave Oliver, Steve Beale, Dan Norton and Gary Stickings. Apparently, Dave has offered to pay for remedial therapy for his team mates' shoulders as they had to carry him all the way round.
A great day was had by all who attended, so many thanks to Steve Beale who organised the day and the weather, managing to fit in a good day weather-wise amongst the various hurricanes that have beset us recently.
