Camels started the game sloppily, conceding three simple tries within the first few minutes. In danger of a real hiding, rather than give up the boys showed heart and pride to tighten the game up and start to dominate posession and territory. Liskeard's 4th try was a breakaway against the run of play, but the game was over as a contest by half time.
Cory's superb try and Saul's fine conversion early in the second half were reward for sustained Camels pressure, but Liskeard were able to add two more long range tries before the end.
Liskeard deserved the win, but there were positives for Camels - the scrum was solid, Oli M put in some fierce tackles, Bryn was everywhere, and Sam had an excellent game in the centre. With the full squad available, it might have been a different story.
