An exciting fast paced match was played today between Phoenix 1 and Wildcats 1. Phoenix were slow to start, missing a few opportunities to keep possession of the ball which resulted in Wildcats scoring 4 goals in the first quarter.

Phoenix made a brilliant comeback in the second quarter with Felice and Olivia scoring 7 goals between them helped on by good clear passing from Aoife in centre. Results in the second quarter were 7-1 to Phoenix.

The third quarter saw Phoenix working really hard, however Wildcats took the lead with 5 goals to Phoenix’s 2.

Phoenix made an excellent comeback in the final quarter with Phoebe scoring 2 goals. The whole team fought really hard to keep possession of the ball to stop Wildcats from securing a win. The final score was 11-11. Well done Phoenix 1 this was a superb match to watch.
