Started in 2014 by Wakefield Council, we formed the current club in 2016.

We now have 140 members with an average age of 63, and on average 36 attend each session.

Sessions take place on 3G pitches indoors at Wakefield Football Centre, Denby Dale Road, Wakefield WF2 7AZ at 10:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 1 hour. In addition there is an Unlimited touches session each Friday at 11:15 for one hour.

The cost per session is £2.00. There is a £10 annual membership to join WWFC.

Competitive sessions take place on Tuesday & Thursday at 19:00, by invitation only.

We enter sides in 50+, 60+, 65+ competitions under the names: Wakefield Wanderers, Wakefield Whites, Wakefield Strollers, Wakefield Redoubt and Wakefield Atletico.
