Paul Halsey: Paul started in management as the goal keeper coach at Ware in 2007 before graduating to team manager two years later. He moved on to the assistant manager’s role at Billericay Town for the 2011/2 season when they won the Isthmian League title. Since then he has held the manager’s post at Hoddesdon and then Hertford before returning to Ware as manager in 2018 when he guided the club to seventh place in the table, its highest in eleven years. By the time the following season was brought to a halt by the covid outbreak Ware were clear at the top of the Isthmian South Central division and in each of the two completed seasons since then his sides have reached the play-off final followed by a play-off semi-final in 2023/4.

Jonny Allotey: A wide player who joined us from Potters Bar. In early games he has demonstrated the speed and skill necessary to open up defences.

Kieran Bishop: A favourite with fans for many years, Kieran rejoined the club in 2023/4 and made his 100th appearance for Ware in his first game before soon adding to the more than 60 goals he has scored for the Blues.

Fred Burbidge: Fred has joined us from Hendon for whom he made 33 appearances in 2021/2. He has also been on the books of Boreham Wood and Potters Bar, and also made loan appearances for Dunstable Town and Waltham Abbey. Fred captains the side in 2024/5.

Gabriel Chapps: A product of Ware's youth teams, he played an important part in the club's progress in the FA Youth Cup in 2023/4. He made several first team apperances too and now has the chance to consolidate his place in the first team squad.

Jon Clements: Jon has scored against Ware for a number of clubs but last season started to compensate by notching nine league goals in twenty appearances. Past clubs include Welwyn Garden City and Biggleswade Town.

Joe Dearman: Joe is a wide midfielder and joined us from Welwyn Garden City. Prior to that he started at Premier League Tottenham Hotspur before joining League One Cambridge United where he played for the under-18s. He has had experience in Poland before returning to Britain to play for St Neots, Biggleswade Town and Wingate & Finchley.

Bailey Eden: Another product of Ware's youth section, Bailey returns after playing for Hoddesdon Town in 2023/4 to get experience of senior football in the Eastern Counties League.

Isaac Evans: A left back who started as a West Ham United player he has most recently been with Huntly in Scotland's Highland League.

Stef Georgiou: A former Ware youth player, Stef left to establish himself at Haringey Borough but returned to Hertfordshire to score on his first appearance. A right back capabl;e of carrying the ball forward he is equally at home in midfield.

Max Granville: Max plays as a central and attacking midfielder. He joined us from Potters Bar after their 2023/4 season. Prior to that he had been a youth player with Stevenage before moving to Biggleswade Town.

Mitch Hahn: Mitch joined us for the 2023/4 season from Grays Athletic for whom he enjoyed a reputation as a great midfielder. This year he also takes on the mantle of vice captain.

Tom Kay: Tom is also a product of the Ware youth system and made two appearances for the first team from the substitutes bench in 2023/4. He now has the chance to establish himself as a more regular member of the first team squad.

Samuel Mayuma:

Freddy Moncur: Made his Ware debut in our 2023/4 FA Trophy game at Witham Town following a transfer from Bowers & Pitsea. Still with plenty of years ahead of him Freddy is none the less a very experienced player.

Joshua Okotcha: Joshua has joined us from Enfield Town. He is an experienced central defender who started in West Ham's youth system before playing for Hendon.

Ike Okwusogu: Ike has played as a striker for Spurs under-19 side and more recently scored an impressive hat trick in one of our pre-season games. This has earned him the chance to extablish himself in the Ware squad.

Nickolay Popov:

Ben Siggers: Ben has also been a member of our youth teams but left to join Stevenage before moving into non-league. He has now returned to Ware as a full back/midfielder.

Kai Somers: Although called into the squad for a number of first team games in 2023/4, youth player Kai never had the chance to take the field. He will get more chances this season and will hopefully make his debut.

David Sota: David established himself as a regular full back in 2023/4. Playing primarily on the left he none the less filled in successfully as right back when the situation demanded.

Mackye Townshend-West: Mackye joined Stevenage youth academy and eventually signed a contract with the league side. He was later loaned out to both St Albans and Royston Town but was released by Stevenage at the end of the 2022/3 season. He then joined Royston for the following season.
