A one sided semi final saw Ware overpower Buntingford and book their place in this season's County Cup Final.

Opposition and a pitch some way below the EJA standards saw Ware take just 15 minutes to rest control of the match, James Sacre netting at the second time of asking following good work from Ollie Luck on the right wing.

Goals arrived at regular intervals thereafter, Andrew Bennet pouncing on a rebound from James Sacre's shot to make it 2-0 after 25 minutes.12 minutes later Ollie Luck had broken free of the centre back who could only grab a handful of his shirt - James Sacre slotting home the resulting penalty.

The best goal of the half fell to Thomas Weald finding the bottom corner from the edge of the area on the stroke of half time.

The second half saw more passing from Ware as the hosts wilted, Andrew Bennets deflected shot making it 5 on 49 minutes, before Ollie Luck threw his body at a cross from Nathan Tree to make it 6 on 55 minutes - always like to see that desire to score from your centre forward.

James Sacre then completed his hat trick; his first shot blocked, he made no mistake with his second.

The final two goals fell to Rodney Clements who was now exploiting the tired defence, both similar goals racing through to finish with composure from through balls by Thomas Weald and Nathan Tree respectively
