There are two matches on the 3G this Saturday offering another chance to experience what the new Wodson Park surface has to offer.

In the morning the Under-15s meet AFC Rushden & Diamonds at 10.30. Last season's Under-15s had a highly successful time winning the Herts FA Challenge Cup for their age group, the third time the club has one this in the last decade, and winning their league cup against St Albans City.

Their opponents from Northamptonshire also had a successful season winning their divisional championship. An entertaining contest is in prospect and there's a chance to take a first look at this season's youth players. We will be hosting sides from Under-13 to Under-18 at Wodson Park in the coming season, with home matches being played on Sundays.

In the afternoon we welcome Southern Premier Division side Royston Town who come to Ware for the 31st meeting between the two clubs. Royston are one of the oldest clubs in the county but with them playing in local football we didn't meet until 1950. More recently they have moved up in the world and the coming season will be their second at Step 3.

Entry for this game is £5 and £2.50 for concessions. Under-14s accompanied by an adult have free admission.
