Ware started brightly with Murat Karagul passing to Rheo Josephs who went on a run down the wing taking on players and crossing from the wing with Ryan Wade’s header being saved low down by BRFC keeper Luke Avenell.
The miss of the match soon followed with Kieran Bishop being put through with a one on one with the keeper and inexcusably hit the ball wide in front of goal, another chance fell to Khale DaCosta whose shot was gathered by the keeper after good work by Ajet Shehu and Samir Hadi.
BRFC came into the game with a corner taken by Ben Newson the ball was cleared and fell to Luke Milbourne who was given too much room and he shot just wide of the near post.
BRFC then had a free kick taken by Ricky Griggs and the ball was met by Amir Berkane but his header was comfortably saved by Rhys Madden in the Ware goal, another chance was wasted when Ware skipper Lee White failed to clear the ball and Luke Milbourne ran in and shot wide.
Ware’s Murat Karagul and Khale DaCosta then combined to put in Ryan Wade who hit his shot just over the bar and then Ware had a golden opportunity to take the lead when Albert Adu won the ball and ran on into the box passing to Kieran Bishop who miss hit his shot, the ball went up into the air and with Albert Adu continuing his run he out jumped everyone to get a header in that struck the near post and bounced out for a goal kick.
Another chance fell to Albert Adu whose run and shot was hit wide after good work by Samir Hadi and Khale DaCosta, BRFC then broke through Jake Turner and Amir Berkane whose pass to Luke Milbourne was hit wide by the latter.
As the first half came to a close both teams went in level at 0-0.

Half-time score: Ware FC 0-0 Brightlingsea Regent FC.

The second half started and after just three minutes into the half BRFC took the lead in the 48th minute when BRFC skipper Josh Gould headed home a powerful header to put his 1-0 ahead.
Ware were not to be denied and quickly came back into the game and six minutes later were level when in the 54h minute Rheo Joseph went on a run and passed to Khale Dacosta who crossed into the box Murat Karagul and Kieran Bishop almost got in the way of each other with Murat Karagul being first to the ball, he miss hit his shot with the ball falling to Kieran Bishop who made amends for his earlier miss and made no mistake in slamming the ball home to level the score at 1-1.
Ware had more chances to extend their lead when Rheo Joseph made room for himself and hit over the bar and a Khale DaCosta shot was blocked in a crowded penalty area and then a Kieran Bishop cross into the box saw both Albert Adu and Marcus Milner just failing to get a foot on the ball that continued on and out of play.
BRFC were always busy with the influential Jake Turner pulling the strings in midfield and was always at the centre of their attacking play and put Ware under some pressure as the half wore on but Ware turned this around when in the 68th minute Murat Karagul picked the ball up just outside the box and unleashed a powerful shot that took a slight deflection on the way into the net to give Ware the lead 2-1.
BRFC then had a corner taken by Jack Johnson with Ben Newson and Amir Berkane both just failing to get a touch and convert, and a Russell Malton cross was saved low down by Rhys Madden.
Substitute Kazim Bishop was now causing BRFC all sorts of problems with his strong running on the ball and they could not cope with him and a typical example of his play was when he received a pass from Albert Adu via Khale DaCosta his strong run took him through players and hit a powerful shot from outside the box that thudded against the bar with the keeper rooted to his spot.
BRFC put some pressure on Ware late on but were unable to get the equaliser and Ware ran out winners by 2-1 and climb to seventh in the table.
