Pitching-In Southern League Division One (Central); kick off 3pm.
Admission: £10 Adults, £8 Concessions.
Our first ever visit to Wiltshire to meet Highworth Town who were moved sideways into our division over the summer. Leaving Division One (South) has added 400 miles to their travelling this season. We will have a taste of what it's like for them as we make this longish journey. Whilst talking about the journey, please note that the Highworth club recommends parking on Swindon Road (SN6 7SJ). If you're not coming on the team coach be prepared to be flexible and considerate with your parking.
If Highworth don't entirely like their travelling costs they haven't altogether enjoyed the playing side either. Currently they sit just above the two automatic relegation places. Don't be fooled, this is their first home game of the month, the three previous matches seeing them lose twice but also score a significant victory away to Biggleswade.
At home they've picked up seven (or 39%) of the 18 points available to them but with only six games played at The Elms they must be hoping to dent our expectations, expectations that must be high after the defeat of leaders Berkhamsted last week.
That game saw Dan Rumens and Renée Howe come off the bench so hopefully they have finished their injury lay-off. It is not clear if the same applies to Richard Bryan.
