Following Monday's dropped points we need to get back on our feet at Capershotts. We will be meeting the team that gave us our first home defeat of the season, a fully deserved and punishing 3-0 reverse so we will have to be at our best. Looking on the bright side we do have the best away record in the division, just one defeat and one draw in eight games.
Abbey have been having a much harder time at home than away as borne out by their latest results, last Monday's 1-0 win at FC Romania which was preceded on Boxing Day by a 3-2 reverse at home to Walthamstow. They've been climbing the table recently and are now in sixth place, nine points behind us.
They must be harbouring hopes of getting into the play-offs, a hope that will have more substance if they win this game. It's going to be another tough one.
