Pitching-in Southern League Division One (Central); kick off 3pm.
Admission: Adults £10, Concessions £7, Under-16s £3.
This is our longest away trip for a league game since our days of meeting Lowestoft Town, Wroxham and Norwich United. Also, as you’ve probably read on here or in the programme, it’s our first ever visit to Gloucestershire.
With the battle for a play-off place coming into sharper focus we can’t afford to concede too many points. That’s what we did in the home game when, not for the only time this season, we surrendered a two-goal lead and deservedly lost 4-3.
Their home record shows they have taken 26 points from 15 games, the fourth best home record in the league. On the other hand, Ware go into this game third best in away matches with 29 points from 14 matches. This all suggests another close game.
The Ware squad will include central defender Matt Hall who joins us on dual registration from Slough Town.
