It’s our last home game before Christmas so time for a couple of presents. Joining Paul Halsey’s squad are George Ironton (left in our picture) and Ben Siggers. Many of you will remember George who made fifty appearances in the 2012/3 and 2013/4 seasons scoring five goals from midfield. He joins us from Walthamstow.

Also joining is Ben Siggers, a left sided defender whose previous clubs are Kings Lynn, Cheshunt and most recently Wingate & Finchley.

Other than Fred Burbidge we now have no injury problems and have recruited Sam Bentley as cover for him on loan from St Albans City. We welcome all three to Ware.

They boost Paul’s selection options for what is an important game as we welcome Biggleswade Town to Wodson Park. The Waders have jumped over us to take a place in the play-offs positions. We’re on the same number of points but they have a significantly better goal difference and a game in hand.

There’s just one youth game on Sunday with the Under-15s meeting Histon in the league cup. Kick off is at 10am, entry is free and the tea bar and clubroom will be open.
