Pitching-In Southern League Division One (Central); kick off 3pm.
Admission: £10 for adults, £5 for concessions.
This will be a new ground for us having not travelled to Stotfold since before New Roker Park was built.
Stotfold look like another club that can pull out some decent results when the occasion demands. Ask Biggleswade and Hertford who both suffered unexpectedly heavy defeats there conceding six and five goals respectively without reply. It will be important for us to avoid anything like that.
The home game, our first ever league meeting with Stotfold, was drawn. Their last home game saw a 2-1 win over Kings Langley after they had drawn the away fixture so they will be confident on Saturday. We will hope to avoid defeat at the very least if we are to maintain the push for a play-off place.
Former Ware player Robbie Buchanan is a regular in their starting line up but we’ll also be looking out for anyone looking to emulate Haroon Meriai. He ended our run of four consecutive clean sheets with a goal after ninety seconds in that home draw back on Trafalgar Day last year.
Also drawn to the new ground are Pete Hill and Symon Allemandy. If you can’t get there, They will be broadcasting at 2.55pm on https://www.spreaker.com/show/90minuteslive.
