The ODs have been catching up on their fixtures lately and have played eight games so far this month. That can take its toll though to what extent is hard to say. Those games have produced two wins (against North Leigh and Hertford), two draws and three defeats with seven goals scored and nine conceded.

There’s no easy comparison with our five March results nor our latest eight games, it would be fruitless to attempt one. For what it’s worth we are twelfth in the away form guide whilst the ODs are fourteenth in the home form guide.

Overall we are on a nine game unbeaten run and we seem to be able to keep the goals against to a minimum. Provided I haven’t tempted fate with that comment and we can field a team not short because of injuries it should be another close encounter.

There are two youth games on Sunday. Starting at 10am the under-16s meet Hertford Town whilst at 2pm the under-17s take on Walthamstow in their last league game of the season. A win will ensure them of third place in the table. As always, entry is free and the clubroom and tea bar will be open throughout.
