Our final Saturday home game is next up with a visit from Aylesbury United. Since returning to the Southern League we have had little joy from the Ducks with four away games gleaning just one point. It’s been better at home but even so we lost last season’s Wodson Park meeting. Can we do better this season?

Well, we may have struggled to turn draws into wins but Aylesbury are on a nine game losing run in which they have conceded 23 goals and scored just three. There again those three goals were against runaway leaders Real Bedford so they’re doing something right.

Paul Halsey is expecting to see more players coming back from injury including Fred Burbidge much to Lewis Thomas’ relief. With something approaching a full side can we hope to see three points?
