Last season’s visit to Herns Way came on the last Saturday before Christmas, this season it’s the last Saturday before Easter. We ended that game losing by the odd goal of nine in a game where both sides leaked goals a little too easily.

That shouldn’t be the case this season with Ware on an undefeated run of eleven games with just nine goals conceded and the Citizens fresh from a goalless draw at high scoring Flackwell Heath.

The home side sit three places and five points ahead of us in the league table. We do however have a slightly better goal difference and look better in the current form guide (tenth to their seventeenth). Allowing for home advantage the Citizens rise to fourteenth whilst we go up to seventh on away form.

There are no youth games this Bank Holiday weekend so make the most of this and Monday’s game at Wodson Park when Leighton Town are the visitors.
