Saturday sees Hertford's first league visit to Wodson Park in 12 years. That is if the weather holds off. Currently it looks as though it should whilst as a precaution the pitch is being forked to drain off the water that has been gathering during the recent wet weather. Mind you, it's going to be cold so wrap up. Snow is also now forecast but there'll be hot food at the tea bar and a warm atmosphere in the clubroom.

This will be the 186th meeting between the clubs in all competitions and official friendlies. It is also the 43rd in Isthmian League games with Hertford's win at Hertingfordbury Park at the end of September giving them the edge with 15 wins to our 14. Whilst Hertford are seemingly safe in mid-table a win for Ware would ease their problems towards the foot of the table.

On the latter subject can I remind you that our Under-16s and Under-14s both have Herts FA cup semi-finals against sides from Welwyn Pegasus on the astro turf at 10am and 12pm respectively on Sunday? Meanwhile the under-15s have reached their county cup semi-final and will be away to Hertford on March 25th. Last season we won two youth county cup titles, this year it could be three.
