John Dreyer's first league game in charge at Ware was against Canvey Island and after holding on to an early lead until first half injury time his new charges leaked five goals in twenty minutes of play. Supporters will be hoping for something better in this return meeting.

Whilst Canvey cannot finish higher or lower than the sixth place they already occupy it's tighter above them and their opponents could come from any of the four clubs above them.

Ware have only been at home once on the final day in the last six seasons including this. They have lost the last four of those final games, drawing the other. The last time we won on the final day was by 2-0 at home to Waltham Forest in 2011/2. Our last away win on the final day was as long ago as 2006/7 when Great Wakering Rovers were finished off 4-0 thanks to a John Frendo hat trick and one from Scott Neilson.
