I didn't get to our previous visit to Bedfont but in looking at the match report for our 3-2 defeat (six months ago almost to the day as it happens) it appears to have been a game that we felt we should have won.
Such is life and Sports might point to the match between the clubs at Ware when Abdeen Abdul thought he had equalised Dave Cowley's opener only for the ball to rebound from a supporting spar in the goal with none of the officials able to confirm that it crossed the line. We went on to win the game 4-2 but it could have been different.
Sports were going well at the time but, having made a number of squad changes for this season, haven't had quite the same start as last year. They are 15th in the table with six points from eight games but last week's 3-0 win at Grays Athletic in the FA Trophy should alert us to their capabilities.
Following our own FA Trophy exploits we will be hoping that Olu Akinsanya and Dan Rumens have recovered from their injuries and are available.
