This Saturday we entertain Ashford Town who defied their league position two weeks ago by handing out a first league defeat to table toppers Hanwell Town. More proof that the level of competition in our division can be very high. This means that despite two 6-1 league wins on the trot we go into our next game aware that any team at Step 4 can bring us back down to earth.

Following last Saturday's match we'll be looking to see if Macsen Fraser has recovered from his injury and likewise for Dave Kendall who wasn't even able to travel to Bracknell. Tobi Adekunle seems to be on a longer term recovery and will probably be given a run out in the under 23s before he is likely to be considered for the first team squad.

Then there's new signing Andre McCollin who signed from Three Bridges in midweek. He didn't play last Saturday so at most I'm guessing he will be on the bench with the chance of coming on if things are going well or maybe if they're going badly.

Ashford have Rylan Myers suspended for this game though he doesn't in any case appear to have figured in recent matches beyond the one in which he earned the red card behind his suspension.

Beyond the football game itself the club shop will be open before the match and at half time.
