The six-goal run can't continue forever and United certainly look capable of putting a stop to our goal rampage. But as we've said before it's three points rather than six goals that are the important outcome.
The Terrors are five points behind us in the table but with two games in hand so can hardly be taken lightly. They also have the division's most miserly defence, their goals against figure is still (just) in single figures and whilst they have scored barely more than half the number of goals that Ware have they did bag five last week at Chertsey.
Hady Ghandour scored four of those but through the season their goals have been shared between a number of players with Danny Bassett netting the most, that's 13 in all competitions.
Last season's meeting at Imperial Fields was a 1-1 draw with Albert Adu scoring for Ware in the first minute and Peter Wedgeworth equalising deep in added time at the end of the game. Much of went on in between was not great perhaps because of the rain that fell heavily for much of the afternoon.
Hopefully the weather will be kinder this year as United are making a celebration of their last home game before Christmas. There's seasonal food and drink, Father Christmas in his grotto, face painting plus free entry for those holding the appropriate voucher. These are available at the link given above.
