Match Preview

The season is getting interesting. Four of our six remaining home games in the league see us up against teams in the top six of the table. The first of these is Uxbridge who currently lie 4th after holding Hanwell Town to a 0-0 draw in midweek.

We won the away fixture 2-0 back in October when Uxbridge had Alex Paine sent off early on. It was his only card of the season until he picked up a yellow against Chipstead last Saturday. Josh Williams and Dave Kendall made their league debuts for us in that game, a match that produced one of our three clean sheets this league season.

Uxbridge last lost on January 4th, going down 1-0 at Waltham Abbey and have since recorded good wins at both Tooting & Mitcham and Barking. Their last two games, both at home, have been drawn; Chipstead sharing the points last Saturday before Tuesday's game against Hanwell.

Aside from the football the tea bar and clubroom will be open for food, drink and TV. The club shop will also be open before the game and at half time.

In addition there is our match day programme (£1.50 on the gate) with latest fixtures, results and tables for our youth and under-23 sides as well as a range of articles to keep you occupied over half time. There are two youth games at the Park on Sunday with the under 17s meeting Hitchin Town at 10am whilst the under 13s receive Cheshunt at 4.30pm. Both games are league matches. Entry is free with the clubroom and tea bar open.
