Losing in the cup will doubtless produce the comment that we can now concentrate on the league and there is some sense behind that cliché this season. No, we didn't want to go out of the cup but we clearly have a team capable of pushing for promotion and the play offs; a crowded fixture list would not help that.

So this game gives us the chance to prove our worth in the league. Not that it will be easy with Uxbridge sitting two places and one point above us in the table after a good win at Chipstead on Saturday. We do however have a game in hand on them. This game was due to be played back on September 21st but we were otherwise engaged in the FA Cup at Biggleswade Town that day.

For this match we may possibly see the squad include those recent signings who were cup tied against Potters Bar. So Joshua Williams and Dave Kendall could make their league debuts for Ware whilst Ahmed Abdulla is available for his first league game since 17th February 2018 when he scored from the penalty spot in the 3-1 defeat to Norwich United.
